Jack and the Beanstalk Pop Up Books

After retelling the story of Jack and the Beanstalk for the second day, I decided to have the kiddos make our very first pop-up books.  Good thing we had a lot of time because it was very time consuming!  But the results are fabulous.  They wrote about the story and then made a giant and a beanstalk to "pop-up" on the page.  My students loved the results and they read them to each other as they finished.  Fun, fun, fun!  Now they want to make pop-up books whenever they have extra time.
